Access Log Options from the Log Manager menu by clicking the expand button
on the Options Settings section:
Logs are managed from the Log Manager.
Options
These options will determine the type of log entries posted to the Log Viewer.
Information
General information on running system events.
Warnings
Warnings that will not hinder operation but should be noted.
Errors
Errors are bad and should be reported to Data Selections.
Debug
This option will generate an enormous amount of detailed log entries and should only be turned on if asked to do so by the Data Selections staff.
Timers
Used internally to track timing of process. Should only be turned on if asked to do so by the Data Selections staff.
Location
Path location to store Log files.
An Enterprise system installation requires that the log files generated by the system be location in a common location accessible to all users. Redirect this to a network share folder.
This are area should have been setup prior to installation.
\\DS01\Programs\DSF\Logs UNC Path
If the log area is not changed to a common area all logs will be stored locally by user and only accessible from each user's individual machine.
Weeks of Retention
Logs older than this setting will automatically be purged.
