User Options can be access by clicking the expand buttonon the User section of the main menu on the Home tab:
Status Display
These settings will determine how much database connection information is included in the bottom left status bar.
Data Schema
When enabled, the system will display the name of the DSF metatdata schema given at the time it was originally created.
The screenshot above is only showing this option.
Connection Name
DSF Data Schemas can contain multiple data connections. For instance; Production and Test.
Enabling this option will display on the status bar the name of the connection.

Physical Connection
Each data connection has a corresponding string describing the physical database connection.
Enabling this option will further include the physical database connection string information.
This will be different depending on the database provider. For Microsoft SQL this includes the Server Name\Instance\Database Name.

Object Statistics
When enabled the object statistics will be displayed in the bottom status bar on the left.
Available data elements are the total number of different data fields that are accessible in the current metatdata mapping by context.
Distinct business categories are how many Entities are available to build Views from.
Logical units of related data are the total number of data categories.

When this option is enabled the standard DS message will utilize a smaller icon:
If neither DS option is enabled then a standard windows default will be used:
Note: If long messages are displayed with the windows default there is no scrolling option. The standard DS message style will always work correctly.
Social Media
Show Social Media Icons
When enabled, links to social media will appear on the main menu:
Warnings
Empty Results
When enabled, the user will be warned that an empty preview window does not indicate an error has occurred with the query.
Users may panic when the results of their field selections suddenly seem to disappear. This warning message explains the results.
Intellisense
Use Help Text
When enabled, Intellisense selections will insert a help structure of the item, if available.
ISNULL(<exp>,<exp>)
When disabled, only the keyword will be inserted.
